The Lida glassware manufacturing facility is equipped with top-of-the-line machinery managed by highly-skilled technicians. This enables us to produce quality glasswares with great efficiency and at lower costs.
Our factory is located in a growing region in Anhui, China, with the capacity to produce over 400,000 glass cups daily. With a modern glass cup factory and an experienced professional team, our glass cup production targets high-end products in the home, beverage, food, and gift industries. The manufacturing of glass cups involves multiple stages, including the crushing and mixing of raw materials, batching, melting, molding, and annealing. The way these steps are executed can be adjusted depending on the glass cup product.
– Available Models –
The biggest advantage of having a large internal mold inventory is flexibility. It’s difficult for a single factory to meet all your requirements.
– Pcs Of Glass Cups Daily –
Quick to respond to the market, our mass production capabilities enable businesses to swiftly and easily complete the production phase.
– Production Lines –
Costs are lower during large-scale production. Lida’s production lines are continuously operational
The primary raw materials we use for making glass cups are sand, soda ash, limestone, and cullet. These materials are mixed in specific proportions to create soda-lime glass. However, other types of glass cups may require additional inputs. For example, dyes and compounds can be added during the manufacturing process to produce colored bottles or heat-resistant borosilicate glass.
Mold installation is a crucial phase, and at Lida Glassware, we’ve streamlined this process to make it as efficient as possible. Our team carefully selects the appropriate mold based on your design specifications and places it in our state-of-the-art glass manufacturing machinery. This setup not only shapes the glass but also influences its texture, weight, and overall finish.
The melting stage occurs in a heating furnace where the raw materials are subjected to high temperatures of around 1600°C. Moisture evaporates, organic matter is burned off, and the remainder of the mixture melts to form molten glass. Finally, the molten glass is cooled to achieve the viscosity needed for the forming stage.
Then the melting materials will be dropped into each mold. Glass cup is formed after machine shaping.
After going through the rigorous forming process, the glass cups need to be cooled and are then moved into an annealing kiln. This is a long oven with controlled temperature settings. In this process, the glass cups are slowly reheated and then gradually cooled again to a temperature below the glass strain point.
Annealing is crucial because it minimizes the internal stresses in the glass cups that could lead to breakage. It also ensures the glass material settles uniformly.
After the glass cups are completed, they undergo surface treatment on the exterior. These can be for decoration, labeling, or even wear resistance. We have a range of specialized equipment and expertise for various treatments, including:
Screen Printing/Decal Application/Digital Printing/Etching/Hand Painting/Spray Painting/Frosting
At Lida, we have over 30 years of professional experience in making glass cups. We ensure that every process is done to the highest possible standards for our client’s satisfaction.
Let us navigate the world of glassware together, always keeping quality and innovation at the forefront.
